Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi arrival {D}Pick up at airport, transfer to hotel in Hanoi, welcome dinner and over night in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour {B/L}
Breakfast, visit the 1000 year city of Hanoi with cyclo tour around the Old Quarter. Lunch en route. Afternoon, attend a water puppet show. Overnight in hotel.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay {B/L/D}
Breakfast, transfer to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise trip. Lunch on board. Visit some caves and grottoes. Afternoon, do kayaking, swim or relax on the deck. Dinner on board. Optional squid angling or fishing on board. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hoi An {B/L}
Morning exercise on deck, breakfast, cruise around the bay. Lunch on board. Disembark for transfer back to Hanoi on car. Drive straight to airport for late flight to Danang. Transfer from Danang airport to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An {B/L}
Breakfast, walk tour around the Hoi An ancient town. Boat trip to handicraft local villages. Lunch, free afternoon on the beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh city {B/L/D}
Breakfast, short flight to Ho Chi Minh city. City tour around the main destinations of the city. Lunch en route. Dinner cruise on Saigon River and overnight in hotel.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh city – Cao Dai temple – Cu Chi tunnels {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer to Tay Ninh province to visit Cao Dai temple. Lunch. Transfer to visit Cu Chi tunnels. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 8: Mekong Delta – Le Jarai Cruise {B/L/D}
Breakfast, transfer to Mekong Delta for the cruise along Mekong River. Sail through waterways and small creeks of Mekong River to visit local villages, temple, matt weaving village, etc. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh city – Siem Reap – Temples of Angkor {B/L/D}
Breakfast, fly to Siem Reap. Lunch. Afternoon, visit the temples of Angkor with Angkor Wat and surroundings.
Day 10-11: Siem Reap – Temples of Angkor {B/L/D}
Breakfast, explore Angkor temples. Lunch and dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh {B/L}
Breakfast, fly to Phnom Penh, discover the capital with afternoon city tour. Lunch en route. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 13: Phnom Penh – Vientiane {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer to Vientiane by airplane. City tour and sunset over Mekong River. Lunch en route. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 14: Vientiane – Luang Prabang {B/L}
Breakfast, transfer to Luang Prabang by airplane. Visit the mountains and temples. Lunch. Walking tour around. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 15: Luang Prabang {B/L/D}
Watch the silent morning procession for collecting alms early morning. Breakfast, join in a boat cruise on Mekong River to the caves of Pak Ou. Afternoon, visit Kuang Si waterfalls. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 16: Luang Prabang departure {B}
Breakfast, transfer to airport for departure flight.
